Crimson Fowl, Triumphant! An homage to the cover to the second issue of The Dark Knight Returns. Done for The Line: it is Drawn.

This would make for a pretty badass series I think.

White Lantern Batman? WHAAAAAAAAA!?
Is it going to be that clone from Blackest Night? Oh you kidder Geoff Johns.
I see that Mr. Jock has picked up some of Mr. Williams III’s layout stylings. Nice.
If you aren’t following the lost-in-time Batman on twitter, I don’t think I want to know you.

That’s just hilarious. Art by Cliff Chiang.
From Legends of the Dark Knight #125. This may be the single greatest Batman-Gordon interaction in the history of comics, with only that issue of Hush coming close. In many ways I miss No Man’s Land.
From Brian Azzarello’s and Lee Bermejo’s Joker. This is the only panel in the graphic novel in which Batman speaks. And it is probably one of, if not the most badass thing Batman has done this decade.
And a million fanboys went insane. JLA/Avengers #2.
“The psychiatrist testified Mrs. Veith told him she was driving on a road when she believed that God was taking ahold of the steering wheel and was directing her car. She saw the truck coming and stepped on the gas in order to become air-borne because she knew she could fly because Batman does it.” From Breunig v. American Family Ins. Co. 45 Wis.2d 536 (1970).
If Mrs. Veith had ever read a comic book from her era, she’d know that Batman’s car does not fly. Unless Mrs. Veith’s transcendent abilities, besides Jesus being her pilot and co-pilot, included seeing the future. Because, obviously, now Batman’s car does, in fact, fly.
